Will my skin actually peel off?

This depends entirely on the depth of the peel we select for you. Superficial peels (like our mask peels) result in little to no visible flaking, offering a quick glow. Medium-depth peels (like TCA) will cause visible peeling and flaking for about 3 to 7 days.

Does a chemical peel hurt?

Most clients experience a mild to moderate tingling, itching, or warming sensation while the active solution is on the skin. It is generally very tolerable, and the sensation subsides as soon as the peel is neutralized or removed.

How long is the downtime?

Downtime ranges from zero days for light superficial peels to up to a week for deeper TCA peels. During the peeling phase, your skin may feel tight and dry. Strict sun protection is absolutely non-negotiable during this time.

Can I get a peel if I have active acne?

Yes! In fact, specific chemical peels (like those containing Salicylic acid) are one of the most effective clinical treatments for clearing active acne breakouts, dissolving pore congestion, and fading post-acne dark marks.
