Pelvic Floor Strengthening

A state-of-the-art technology that has recently been FDA-cleared finally allows us to successfully treat concerns experienced with a weak pelvic floor. A weak pelvic floor is frequently experienced after childbirth and over time these muscles can also become prolapsed as we start to age.

The pelvic muscles are responsible for keeping the female pelvic organs in place that include the bladder, uterus, vagina, small bowel and rectum. Women experience sagging, loss of firmness and often even laughing, sneezing and exercising can become risky when the pelvic floor is weakened.

The patient remains fully clothed and sits for 28 minutes while the high intensity focused electromagnetic technology stimulates the deep pelvic floor muscles. A thorough consultation will give us a better idea of the best treatment plan for you. Usually, six sessions are recommended in total, with two sessions scheduled twice a week.
